After last month’s primaries, another clean sweep of Trump endorsements, and no cure in sight for all the ills that ail you, it’s time to take a look at the freshest batch of political odds from the Vegas election betting sites we all know and love.
The following lines come from Bovada Sportsbook, but – if you’re really interested in laying some action on the November primaries – BetOnline has even more to choose from.
2022 Midterm Election Odds
Which party will win the House in the 2022 Midterm election?
- Republican -750
- Democratic +440
Bet the farm on the GOP here. The left has already all but conceded defeat in the House for 2022.
2022 Gubernatorial Election Odds
2022 Arizona Governor Race
- Republicans -160
- Democrats +120
- Any Other Party +3300
Fittingly, Republican Doug Ducey can’t run for reelection after service two terms as AZ governor, so the 2022 Arizona election will be wide open.
Of course, we’ve never heard of any of the people running for the post, so we’re staying out of it.
2022 Florida Governor Race
- Republican -1400
- Democrats +700
- Any Other Party +4400
Ron DeSantis is the most popular American politician not named Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Charlie Crist is a changeling has-been, and Nikki Fried – although reasonably well-liked on the left – isn’t going to carry the state.
2022 Kansas Governor Race
- Republicans -400
- Democrats +280
- Any Other Party +4000
Current governor Laura Kelly (D) is running for reelection in Kansas.
However, despite the general strength of incumbents, the Democrat brand has taken a massive hit in the heartland, making her a distant second on the odds boards.
The vote will be closer than the above odds imply, but we expect the GOP to take the KS governorship.
2022 Maryland Governor Race
- Democrats -700
- Republicans +425
- Any Other Party +3300
Gov. Larry Hogan (R) is term-limited and can’t be reelected in MD, which means the seat is open.
But this one’s curious. The state elected a Republican standard-bearer when the economy was doing much better, yet the Democrats – i.e. the architects of the current miserable state of things – appear to have a huge advantage in the state.
For what it’s worth, The Donald has endorsed Delegate Dan Cox for MD Governor.
2022 Nevada Governor Race
- Democrats -125
- Republicans -105
- Any Other Party +3300
This one could be close. Incumbent Governor Steve Sisolak – a Democrat – has recently come out hard against gun rights and gun ownership in America, which is something that typically doesn’t fly in out west.
Meanwhile, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo is the GOP’s nominee, and he’s polling pretty well.
This is basically a coin toss, so we’d take the better payout on the Republican line.
2022 Texas Governor Race
- Greg Abbott -900
- Beto O’Rourke +500
LOL.
In addition to the above Midterm election odds, there are also a few international election odds at Bovada and BetOnline to choose from, though – for us on this side of the pond – they’re markedly less interesting.
And naturally, there are also a few juicy 2024 Presidential betting lines you can wager on right now:
2024 Presidential Election Odds
Democratic Candidate
- Field -260
- Joe Biden +190
Joe Biden has zero chance to be the Democratic nominee in 2024.
Democratic Candidate
- Joe Biden +190
- Kamala Harris +450
- Gavin Newsom +600
- Hillary Clinton +1200
- Pete Buttigieg +1200
- Elizabeth Warren +2000
- Michelle Obama +2000
- Bernie Sanders +2500
- Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez +3000
- Beto O’Rourke +3300
- + More
None of the above.
Chances are good that the Democratic nominee will be someone with whom the mainstream isn’t all that familiar with just yet.
Either that, or it’ll be Mark Cuban.
Republican Candidate
- Donald Trump +100
- Ron DeSantis +200
- Mike Pence +1100
- Nikki Haley +1800
- Mike Pompeo +3300
- Josh Hawley +4000
- Mitt Romney +4000
- Ted Cruz +4000
- Tom Cotton +4000
- Candace Owens +5000
- + More
Tough call between Trump and DeSantis.
On the one hand, Trump is the most popular politician of the last 100 years and should be able to win easily for a third straight time.
On the other hand, DeSantis is arguably even more conservative that Trump and has the added motivation of his window being wide open right now.
He doesn’t want to end up the next Ted Cruz.
2024 Presidential Election – Winning Party
- Republican -140
- Democrat +130
- Any Other +2800
The payout on the GOP is only going to get worse as we inch closer to November.
Take the Republicans with all you’ve got to spare.
2024 US Presidential Election – Winner
- Donald Trump Sr. +250
- Ron DeSantis +350
- Joe Biden +650
- Gavin Newsom +1600
- Kamala Harris +1600
- Mike Pence +2400
- Pete Buttigieg +2500
- Nikki Haley +3500
- Michelle Obama +4000
- Elizabeth Warren +4500
